Product Description
THIS IS THE ESSENTIAL AFTERMARKET PART!!!
Each Rad Guard comes with its own easy to read fitting instructions. The Rad Guard is cable tied on to the black fairing/cover on the bike.
Aircraft grade 6060 T1 –T5 aluminium is used to manufacture our Expanded Mesh & Frames.
The rigid frame of the Rad Guard holds the expanded mesh in place so that hard hits by stones and any other road debris will save your core from certain damage. This rigid frame also acts as a brace to prevent the radiator core from being squashed if a side impact occurs. For example, the bike falls off the stand.
The Expanded Mesh has proven to be the perfect choice of material. It is lightweight and very strong. It does NOT restrict air flow.
The Expanded Mesh sits off your radiator core by approximately 10-15mm, so even a direct hit from a stone, bird or any other road debris will save your radiator core from being damaged.
All Rad Guards come with rubber backing were necessary to alleviate any rubbing or vibration. This has already been installed on the guard.
All Rad Guards come with a 3 Year Transferable Warranty.

Radiator Guards F650GS
Good product although had to buy a dremel to trim the plastic shrouds to fit. Looks like more air flow than the others.

Easy with a Dremel, or a pain without.
I've recently installed this on my bike, a 2000 model Dakar. Over all, I'm pleased. The guards are good quality and solid, and I have little doubt for them. As for the company, as pain free as ordering something of the net can be, so zero complaints from me. The installation however, was more annoying than anticipated. I'm the pictures shown, the metal guard in the middle is what you get, and the black surround is something on your bike, which you will have to cut to accommodate the metal guard, only to cable tie it in place. The position you have to cut is a bit of a pain. It's ideally a job for a Dremel, should you have one. Without it or something, it's a real frustration. The install feels quite agricultural, but has so far caused no issues m

Nice
Easy instal. If you can't work a Dremel, then you have no business owning a motorcycle.
